In the mountains of Haiti we the residents of the
quiet town of Fort Jacques prepared for
Hurricane Matthew
None of us could've perceived
the devastation to come

As a non profit we have 3 facilities in Haiti
2 orphanages housing 70 children and
a missions house with a total of 39 staff..

The storm  took down 90 % of our  trees
2 acres of crops used to supplement food
Our 600 gallon water tank blown off the roof into a neighbors yard with all the attached plumbing
leaving us no clean drinking water.

The satellite dish also blew off the roof.
All electric wires were broken by fallen trees.

We have a lot of damage to the roof.
There is  water damage inside the house due to flooding, and
structural damage to the building
Clean up will take much effort!
When the storm ends we will do a walk through and evaluate more thoroughly.
